Age: 19, though he believes he's 17 due to having his memory wiped. Birthday: January 3rd, unsure what year. Blood Type: B Nationality: Japanese Height: 175 cm (about 5'9"). Weight: 67 kg (about 148 lbs). Physique: Quite thin, but fit and rather muscled due to being an athlete. Hair: Orange-red, but it's dyed. Dunno what his natural hair color is, I'm guessing it's dark. Impressively spiky. Eyes: Pale blue. Other Notable Features: A long goatee, dyed the same color as his hair (and am I crazy for wondering how tf he managed that?). Usual Outfit: White jacket with the collar popped for he's a DOUCHEBAG, white tee with a red skull design, dark jeans, white platform shoes. Two studded belts, several rings (including the one on his beard), a chain necklace with a padlock, a giant-ass safety pin on his jacket. Several facial piercings: a labret, a tongue stud, and six earrings. (Probably more piercings elsewhere, who knows when it'll come up)
Sharper Hearing. He finds that he's much more aware of various sounds in his environment now, and he can easily pick out where they're coming from. Within a few days, he'll be able to gather all sorts of information from even the briefest peep - a voice's owner from just one word, their weight from their footsteps, etc. In time, anyone trying to sneak up on him will have quite a bit of trouble.
Terrain Sense. Not only is his mind starting to attune to various small details in his environment, but he quickly finds himself creating internal 3D maps of familiar surroundings based on both these details and memories. He doesn't just know how far one place is from another, he can feel the distance as strongly as one can feel whether they're right-side-up or not.
Weakness to High-Pitched Voices. A blast from a whistle, a baby crying, brakes screeching on tires...no matter what they are, he simply cannot stand noises at a certain frequency anymore. What might once have been merely annoying is now the worst kind of torture, shredding his thoughts to ribbons and burning his blood so that anger is all that rises through the confusion. Speaking of which:
Nasty Temper. Oh, he was easily riled-up before, a complete hothead with hair to match. But now? Hooo-ly HELL, it's like his brain shuts off completely (no screechy noise needed, just an insult will probably do ye) and everything turns blood-red before gathering in his fists. He WILL turn violent when he's pissed, and all of his conscious control will blink out for it. For now, this only lasts for anywhere between a few seconds to under a minute (depending on how long the Angry Stimulus lasts), and he quickly comes back to himself afterwards. But this may change as the fog keeps rolling in...
Increased Physical Capabilities. Oh, and when he gets violent, expect to be truly terrified. At first, he notices he feels quite a bit fitter than usual; he feels more energetic, he can exert himself for longer (and he was already in good shape there, so this is saying something), and yes, he does notice he looks more muscular. But pretty soon, he's able to, say, rip a hunk of metal off of something if he's committed enough (say, if he's sufficiently ticked). He thinks he's becoming the Hulk or something, and quite frankly, he's a bit scared.
Changing Features. Let's not forget these. His nails are growing thicker, for one, and they're getting yellower as the week goes by - he's thinks it's gross, and he tries whatever to keep them trimmed down, though that's difficult because of how damn thick they are (like horn, almost). They'll be a dark golden color by the end of the 7th. All over his body, too, he notices hair growing long and dark - also gross, and he obsessively shaves now, though it just grows in faster and darker. And very soon, he feels two sore bumps on his head, like something hit him very hard, and they itch and throb and give him the worst ongoing headache he's had in a long time (and the dude's suffered nasty concussions and shit).
A Thick Fur Coat. If he thought he was all hairy and gross before, he certainly won't like what's happening to him this week. Long curls of coarse red fur will soon cover his forearms and calves, and his chest and armpits will get similar carpets; and most impressively, he'll grow a thick, shaggy mantle of reddish-white wool covering his entire back, from his neck and shoulders down to where the base of his upcoming tail will be. It's gonna get hot quickly, especially now that summer's coming. It's gonna shed all over the place. He's not gonna have a good time.
Some Horns to Grab Him By. Remember those sore knots on his head? They never went away, and on the morning of the 5th, he'll find that a pair of little golden horns has burst through his scalp. They'll be pretty small even after they've grown out and curved a bit over the next few days, but they'll still be cumbersome and irritating, robbing him of good sleep by getting in the way and compelling him to relieve the itching/pain by rubbing them on things. Also, when he's mad/in hunting mode, he'll develop the instinct to headbutt. So watch out for that.
Other New Head-Features. Kuwata has goat ears now, long and red-furred and sticking straight forward n' up (though the right one is weighed down a bit by its piercings). Now he can really pinpoint where noises are coming from, and they even perk up when he's trying to catch a sound. His eyes, too, will turn more goatlike, as the pupils will eventually squish and become horizontal; he'll have to get used to having blindspots above and below his head, but in time, the increased peripheral vision will prove useful, especially in navigating terrain. Towards the end of the week, he may even feel like his face is starting to get longer...
Limb-o. This is also where his feet start to turn into bull-hooves, and it won't be elegant or feel good in any way whatsoever. He'll wake up one morning to find his feet are all messed up, the big toes having receded almost to the heels and the toes in the middle (now topped with thick, misshapen yellow nails) having elongated to start bearing his weight. He'll be hobbled for a while; but then he'll realize that his arms are now about the length of his legs (and extremely muscular besides, his hands now looking like they could make a mean knuckle sandwich), and he'll find that if he walks on all fours, on feet and fists like a gorilla, he'll be able to get around far more efficiently. Now, he can straight up bull-charge his victims, and it's a surprisingly terrifying sight. And as previously mentioned, he's gonna be waaaay more jacked overall; his legs, in particular, will look more like bull legs, and they'll indeed be strong enough to kick through rock (or they would if, you know, his feet weren't all fuck-y).
He's a Maneater! Finally, and worst of all, he'll start looking...differently at the humans around him. He'll contemplate their bodies, remembering all the stuff he's heard from more senior monsters, and it's like he's wondering how they'll taste. It'll disgust him, no doubt. He'll try to resist, and he'll have some luck, being a minotaur who can also eat veggies and stuff (though he'll lose the taste for all other kinds of meat). But it'll only be a week before his sanity starts to go, and by then, the moment he sees a human? Dinnertime, whether he wants it or not.
...To End on A Lighter Note! He finds himself being more closely attuned to music now! Even if it's just a snatch drifting out of a nearby club or something, he'll easily remember the tune and latch on to things like the beat or bassline; he may even find himself humming/foot- or finger-tapping to it absentmindedly.
Let's Get All The Physical Shit Outta The Way, because in his opinion, there's nowhere to go but up after last month. His feet will look more presentable by the end of the week, but only after more fuckery: he loses the fourth and fifth toes on each foot (the corresponding metatarsals will still be around though), and the nails on his second and third will bend and thicken until they form a golden, cloven bull's hoof, hard as diamond and able to kill with a single kick. His face, meanwhile, becomes the face of a goat made out of human features - long muzzle (and a long tongue to go with it), cleft upper lip (though he still has all his teeth, rather than a gummy upper ridge - when he opens his mouth all the way, he's kinda terrifying), short red fur on his nose and ears, and his goatee now grown into a long, proper billy-goat beard. Likewise, his horns grow out even more, curling back and out and up into wickedly-sharp points. And finally, he gets his tail, starting as a fluffy nub of extra vertebrae and growing into a long, whippy thing aflare with spiky red floof. Kuwata's not surprised, though it does still rankle - he's just become more of a beast, is all.
Capra Aegag-rockin' Hircus. Something is surprising, though, not to mention a comfort in these trying times. Yep, Leon finally gets his musical talent this month! He can come across an instrument of any sort, and in much the same way he has that internal map to keep him from getting lost, he intuitively understands how it works - making a sound, controlling the notes, all of that jazz (heh). Perhaps he'll try to play it, if he doesn't bitterly expect to break it with his BIG MEATY CLAWS. And if he does, he'll find it all so easy, just as natural to sink into as baseball. Any monster listening will probably find it charming, with its beautiful complexity and richness of feeling. But any human that happens to catch his playing on their ears will find it so poetically gorgeous that they'll fall into a deep trance, fixed to the spot wherever they are - in other words, easy prey. Basically, if his music wouldn't hypnotize the audience, he'd have a promising career in that field!
APPEARANCE: *Rabbit-like incisors. These grow continually, so he will need to constantly gnaw on things to keep them in check. *The ears of a hare, long and possessed of advanced hearing (though it's only slightly better than what he had as a minotaur). Following a scuffle with another suddenly-turned pooka, they're scarred and tatty. *Hare-like facial features: fur on his brow and cheeks, a lapine nose and muzzle, and bright orange whiskers. *Sharp black claws on his fingers and toes, perfect for digging and also ripping people to shreds. *Strong, hare-like legs. He's super-fast and can jump really high thanks to them, and just like his old bull legs, they can kick through rock. *Brown and white fur all over his body, and a more bunny-like body in general - he looks like a cartoon rabbit. He even has a little bunny tail. *A much shorter stature. At three foot nine, he doesn't exactly cut a very imposing figure.
INSTINCTS AND ABILITIES: *Super-vision that lets him see a wider range of colors, up into the ultraviolet range. Things look much more rich and detailed to him than they did before. *A more deceitful nature. All of a sudden, lying comes naturally to him, and he'll rely on this newfound skill more and more. However, no matter how much he wants to, Leon simply cannot break a promise - his instincts won't allow him to. *The need to burrow. Being underground just feels safer and more comfortable to him now, so he has to sleep there from now until he changes back. He can frequently be found napping in gutters, drain pipes, tunnels, old animal burrows, and even people's basements and cellars (if they'll let him). *A need to feed on people, and on their bone marrow specifically. He didn't know that second part at first, but rest assured that when this happened, he was sure feeling it. *A thrill-seeking nature. Leon hated boredom before all this - he's a Type 7, that's only natural - but now it's the most excruciating torture for him. He NEEDS to be out and doing something, preferably something exciting and risky, and before long this drives him to engage in very reckless pursuits. Tied into this is a compulsive need for socialization, because other people/monsters are a good means of staving off boredom. *Transformation and mimicry. He'll almost certainly stumble upon it by accident, but Leon now has the ability to take on the appearances of other monsters. It won't be perfect, of course, as he can't grow extra features (such as wings) and he has to keep his pooka ears and tail. But as long as those bits are disguised somehow, he can fool just about anyone! This might come in handy, huh?
